What is Alstrum?

Alstrum is an AI-powered trading platform that provides machine learning signals, AI analysis, and institutional-grade market insights for retail traders.

Do I need trading experience?

Basic understanding of stocks helps, but Alstrum is designed to be accessible. Our Trace AI explains the reasoning behind every signal in plain language.

Is Alstrum a financial advisor?

No. Alstrum provides information and analysis tools. We are not registered investment advisors. All trading decisions are yours. See our Risk Disclaimer.

What countries is Alstrum available in?

Alstrum is available globally. Trade execution requires a supported brokerage (primarily US brokerages via SnapTrade integration).

Is there a mobile app?

Alstrum works on mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is on the roadmap.


Signals & ML

How accurate are the signals?

Signal accuracy varies by market conditions. Confidence scores indicate model certainty, not guaranteed outcomes. Higher confidence (70%+) historically shows better performance, but past performance doesn't guarantee future results.

What's a confidence score?

A percentage (0-100%) indicating how certain the ML model is about the prediction. Higher = more conviction. We recommend focusing on 60%+ confidence signals.

How often do signals update?

  • Intraday signals: Continuous during market hours
  • Daily signals: Updated at market open
  • Options signals: Updated with market data

What models power Volt?

Alstrum uses AlphaNet, a proprietary ensemble of neural networks trained on price action, fundamentals, options flow, and institutional patterns.

Why do some stocks have no signal?

Not all stocks generate clear signals. Our model only outputs signals when it has sufficient confidence. No signal is better than a low-quality forced signal.

Can signals change?

Yes. Signals are based on current data. A STRONG_BUY can become a SELL if market conditions change. Always check current signals before trading.


Features

Can I automate trading?

Not currently. Stryk requires manual order confirmation for all trades. Automated execution is on the roadmap.

Do you offer paper trading?

The free tier lets you view signals without execution. For simulated trading, connect a paper trading account through your brokerage.

Can I connect multiple brokerages?

Multiple brokerage connections will be supported when SnapTrade integration launches.

Data & Coverage

What stocks are covered?

Volt covers 8,800+ US equities across NYSE, NASDAQ, and AMEX.

What's your data source?

Real-time data from Databento (professional-grade). Historical data from Polygon. All data is institutional quality.

Do you cover options?

Yes. Options signals and analysis available for Pro and Founders tiers.

Do you cover crypto?

Not currently. Crypto coverage is being evaluated for future release.

Do you cover international markets?

Not currently. Focus is on US equities. International expansion is on the roadmap.


Billing & Account

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from Settings → Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit/debit cards via Stripe. We don't currently accept crypto or wire transfers.

Is my payment info secure?

Yes. Payments processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Can I upgrade or downgrade?

What browsers are supported?

Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (latest versions). Mobile browsers supported for viewing, desktop recommended for trading.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use:

  • Auth0 for authentication
  • Stripe for payments (we never see your card)
  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS)

Why is data delayed on Free tier?

Free tier uses 15-minute delayed data. This is industry standard for free services. Upgrade to Pro for real-time data.

The site isn't loading correctly

Try:

  1. Clear browser cache
  2. Disable extensions
  3. Try incognito mode
