Understanding Signal Cards

Each signal in Volt displays key information:

Signal Components

Signal Types

Alstrum provides 5 signal types:

Confidence Scores

The confidence percentage indicates how certain the ML model is:

  • 80-100%: Very high confidence - Strong conviction signals
  • 60-79%: High confidence - Good trading opportunities
  • 40-59%: Moderate confidence - Consider with caution
  • Below 40%: Low confidence - Not recommended for trading
Best Practice

Focus on signals with 60%+ confidence for better probability setups.

Reading a Signal

Here's how to interpret a typical signal:

AAPL | STRONG_BUY | 85% | $178.50 | +2.3% | High Vol | OB FVG

This tells you:

  • AAPL is showing a strong buy signal
  • The model has 85% confidence in this prediction
  • Current price is $178.50, up 2.3% today
  • Volume is high (good liquidity)
  • There's an Order Block and Fair Value Gap present (SMC confluence)

Taking Action

Option 1: Analyze Further

Click on any signal to open Trace analysis:

  • AI explains why the signal is bullish/bearish
  • Key factors driving the prediction
  • Potential risks and opportunities

Option 2: Execute Trade

Click Execute to open Stryk:

  • See detailed chart with SMC overlays
  • Enter order parameters
  • Execute through connected brokerage

Timeframes

Signals are available across multiple timeframes:

Intraday

  • 5 minute - Scalping opportunities
  • 15 minute - Short-term momentum
  • 1 hour - Intraday swings

Swing

  • 4 hour - Multi-day setups
  • Daily - Swing trade signals

Position

  • 3 day - Longer-term positions
Timeframe Selection

Choose timeframes that match your trading style. Day traders focus on 5m-1h, swing traders on 4h-1d.
